We got to go skiing for the first time this season at Bogus Basin. We were glad to go because Boise had a 2 week inversion episode.
I hate the inversion more than anything. It was crazy how cold and dark the days are. The only relief to the weather is to go HIGHER!!!
Boise is down there somewhere!!
About half way up the hill everything was ice covered. It's really beautiful and strange at the same time. Gerald got some great pictures.
A few more miles up the road and the sun begins to break through. It's amazing how much you miss something when you do not have it. I truly love the SUN!!! The temperature was about 35 degrees higher at the ski area then down in the valley. We went skiing 2 weeks straight just to bring our spirits up.

Paige skied great for her first time this season. She's learning to parallel ski and only fell on the last run of the day. She was too tired. We did not get pictures of her that day, but she did great!
The boys are doing well also. Braden has skied more than Jordan this year because Jordan's friends do not have Bogus Basin passes. We hope that more of his friends will get passes so he goes more. It's all about the friends at his age. Skiing with the Fam is really uncool.
