Memories of 2008
We hope that 2008 has been good to you and your family. Though we are in troubling and tiring times we have a hope for a brighter tomorrow and an increased knowledge of what really matters in life. This holiday season we have cut back and really reflected on our needs verses our wants (wants are not so bad if few in numbers). We realized that we are very, very blessed and have a wonderful life full of lasting memories. This year we were able to add a lot of new wonderful memories to our storybook.
Jordan (16): Jordan’s memories are Eagle High School baseball & football, skiing, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, camping with friends and family, drawing art projects, doing his lawn business, helping Grandpa Evans on the Elk Ranch, Eagle Scout project followed by Eagle Scout award, getting drivers license, turning 16 and getting his first car (Jeep), hanging with friends more than family and finally GIRLS. We are very proud of Jordan for choosing to baptize Paige on Oct 11. It is something we will remember forever. We are proud of him and all that he has accomplished.
Braden (12): Braden’s memories include getting the Aaronic Priesthood, lots of mountain biking and helping with the new Eagle bike park, baseball, camping with Scouts, friends & family, and helping with many Eagle Scout projects, skiing, motorcycle riding with dad, helping take care of Paige on mom’s work days, playing with friends almost daily. Braden did a service project for 7th grade and raised over $200.00 in 4 hours to help the Penny’s for Peace project that helps to build schools in poor countries. He has a soft heart and we are proud of him.
We hope that you have a wonderful 2009 and hope to see any of you if you are in the Boise area. We are grateful for our family heritage and the knowledge we have of our Savoir Jesus Christ. We are so blessed and hope that His love will bless you and your family continually this year and for years to come.
Wishing you a Happy Holiday and a Fabulous New Year!!!
